    The Tax practice

    Our Tax practice is highly respected for combining deep technical expertise with practical, commercial solutions. We advise, assist and litigate where necessary, often working closely with our legal and notarial colleagues as well as offices around the world.

    Within our Amsterdam Tax Practice, approximately 75 professionals work across multiple specialisations:

    Our Corporate & International Tax (Direct Tax) team assists Dutch and international clients with transactional and advisory work, including mergers, acquisitions, reorganisations and disputes.

    Our Indirect Tax team advises listed multinationals and leading companies on VAT matters and contributes to the further development of a strong global VAT and customs practice.

    Our Transfer Pricing team consists of tax professionals, economists and analysts who work on tax planning, cross-border transactions, financial modelling, advanced economic analyses and the development of innovative solutions for our global clients.

    Finally, our Employee Benefits team provides advice on employment taxes, social security, remuneration, tax audits and cross‑border employee assignments.

    The internship - Transfer Pricing

    As a Transfer Pricing intern, you will be fully involved in the team's daily work. Your responsibilities will extend well beyond legal research or drafting memoranda. You may be involved in:

    • Performing economic and functional analyses
    • Setting up and reviewing financial models
    • Conducting benchmark studies and quantitative analyses
    • Drafting transfer pricing reports and cross-border advisory documents
    • Supporting the team on client transactions and international projects
    • Collaborating with professionals from various jurisdictions across the network
    • You will receive close guidance from the team while being encouraged to take initiative. Interns are invited to attend all team and office-wide social events.

    You are:

    • In the third year or beyond of a university degree in one of the following fields:
    • Tax Law
    • Tax Economic
    • Affinity with economic and financial modeling, for instance through a Bachelor or Master's degree, Finance or Business Administration is a plus
    • Or another analytical/economic study programme
    • Strong academically, with an excellent CV and transcript
    • Fluent in either Dutch or English (fluency in one of these languages is a strict requirement)
    • Interested in transfer pricing, international business and cross-border matters
    • Proactive, eager to learn and socially engaged within the team
