Group HR Manager

Labeau was formed from a merger announced in February 2024 between Hark/Sion and Microflor . The company specializes in the breeding and propagation of young ornamental plants, with Phalaenopsis being its largest product. With around 950 employees and locations across Germany, Belgium, Slovakia, Turkey and the Netherlands, Labeau is the second largest breeding company for Phalaenopsis worldwide.

At Labeau, we're looking for an Group HR Manager who's ready to roll up their sleeves: someone who supports the different locations, develops processes, and guides our organization through change. Today, you'll be involved hands-on, tomorrow, you'll grow into a more strategic role with global impact.

Your role ?

• Establish the foundations of HR: setting up processes, supporting new locations, and ensuring a strong basis.

• Combine strategic insight with a hands-on approach: you think ahead but also take action yourself to get things moving.

• Act as the link between management and HR: translating management needs into concrete actions and solutions.

• Guide the organization through the changes brought by the merger in a pragmatic and coaching-oriented way.

• Ensure consistent and practical HR processes that can be applied across the organization.

• Gradually build a talent management policy to attract, develop, and retain the right people.

• Work on a coherent approach to compensation & benefits, aligned with local practices.

• Coach and inspire local HR Business Partners and strengthen their effectiveness.

• Be a sparring partner and trusted advisor for management and team leaders.

• Participate in management team meetings on HR-related topics.

• Oversee the global HR budget.

What do you bring ?

· Solid experience in managing HR teams and in inspiring and aligning HR professionals remotely.

· Strong background in guiding and managing change and culture projects.

· Experience working in an international context and coordinating multiple locations.

· Ability to balance a people-focused and results-oriented approach.

· Excellent negotiation and presentation skills.

· Strong ability to build and maintain interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company

· Willingness to travel regularly to locations in Belgium and Germany.

· Fluent in English
