Job description

Are you a flexible jack-of-all-trades with a passion for the hospitality industry? Would you like to work at a fantastic hotel that has ambitious plans and a bright future ahead of it? Then look no further! At Van der Valk Hotel Eindhoven, we can always use enthusiastic and motivated employees.

Every day you will have to deal with various events in the hotel and no day is boring! You will work in the 040 Congress & Events department and literally help build our events!

You are mainly available in the evenings and weekends.

In short: a dynamic job with lots of variety!

Job requirements

Duties & responsibilities:

- Set-up and take-down of events / meetings / conferences;

- Flawless translation from floor plan to final result;

- Converting room set-ups;

- Straightening / preparing the venue for the next day;

- Managing warehouses / replenishing work stocks;

- Making audiovisual / technical preparations for the events;

- Occasionally taking part in the service of the Event.

What qualities will make us happy?

You are:

- A powerhouse (m/f) with an eye for detail;

- Guest- and service-oriented;

- Enthusiastic and energetic;

- Well able to perform physical labour, including setting up and dismantling furniture, setting up rooms etc.;

- Handy; Able to pick up a drill or paintbrush;

- Available in the afternoons, evenings and weekends;

- Flexibly employable (including during public holidays);

- Stress-resistant;

- You have a hands-on mentality;

- A sociable team player, also independent enough to work on your own;

- You are fluent in Dutch and English.
