We are looking for a enthusiastic QHSSE Officer with experience in the maritime or industrial sector. Do you have more then 5 years of experience providing support on projects and QHSSE policy? Then we are looking for you!

Our client is a maritime support provider with a versatile fleet of over 30 vessels and operates globally. Supporting clients working on coastal infrastructure, offshore wind and oil & gas projects. They work in a broad range of maritime sectors. DP Multicats, Walk-to-work Vessels, Crew Transfer Vessels, Multipurpose & Survey Vessels, and Barges. For this organization we are looking for a QHSSE Coordinator.

Functieomschrijving

As a QHSSE Coordinator you will have a variety of tasks such as supporting the operations and technical departments, provide support to the projects of the Workboats & CTVs fleet for all QHSSE related matters and provide support to the corporate QHSSE team. For this function you will be located in Den Helder and will be required to visit the projects on a regular basis.

Responsibilities

• Assist and advice the departments on all aspects of QHSSE
• Support in the further development of the vessels and workshop RI&Es
• Ensure that QHSE is implemented and monitored in line with the Integrated Management System
• Maintain and update both project as corporate QHSSE documentation as required
• Participate in HAZID sessions and liaise with clients on project requirements
• Coordinate onshore HSE aspects in the workshop and manage the environmental aspects
• Conduct incident investigations as required
• Maintain the Management System in line with the ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards and ISM where applicable
• Visit the vessels and clients in support of project requirements
• Keep up with developments in the industry related to sustainability, and environmental performance and participate in industry initiatives
• Support the QHSSE team with corporate initiatives such as the CARE culture programme, Sustainability, Safety campaigns, Auditing and the continual improvement of our Management System.

Functie eisen

• MBO /HBO level working level
• At least 3-5 years of experience in a similar position, preferably (not mandatory!)) in the offshore and/or marine industry, civil, Oil & Gas or Renewables
• Additional professional qualifications in QHSSE (MVK/ HVK or NEBOSH)
• Experience with QHSSE Management Systems and QHSSE Auditing Techniques
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISM, ISPS, MLC and other relevant Standards and Codes • Experience in working in multidisciplinary teams
• Fluent in English and Dutch and preferably able to communicate in German
• Strong knowledge of MS Excel and other MS-office applications.
