Upstream Procurement digitalization Senior Manager

The Senior Manager of Procurement Digitization leads Coty's global procurement digitization agenda, driving the design, deployment, and continuous improvement of digital tools, automation, and AI-enabled solutions.

This role accelerates procurement's transformation by enabling smarter decision-making and streamlined processes.

Acting as both strategist and technologist, the Senior Manager ensures Coty adopts innovative digital capabilities that enhance value creation, efficiency, and risk management across all procurement activities.

Operating at the intersection of Procurement, IT, Data, and the To-Be AI Center of Excellence, this role ensures seamless integration of new technologies, strengthens digital governance, and positions Procurement at the forefront of Coty's enterprise wide AI ambitions.

1. E2E

• Leads the digital transformation agenda across Procurement.

• Owns design, implementation, and sustainment of global digital solutions.

• Manages complex, high-value technology deployments and integrations.

2. AI and Innovation Expertise

• Converts procurement pain points into AI-enabled, scalable solutions.

• Oversees prototyping, proof-of-concept pilots, and deployment of intelligent tools.

• Identifies automation opportunities to lift procurement productivity and insights.

• Provides thought leadership on the future of digital procurement and AI adoption

3. Cross-Functional Leadership • Influences and aligns diverse senior stakeholders (IT, Legal, Finance, Procurement).

• Ensures process, data, and technology remain fully integrated and business-aligned.

• Acts as a strategic interface between Procurement and enterprise digital teams.

4. Strategic Autonomy • Operates independently, identifying opportunities and shaping the digital roadmap.

• Leads pilots, evaluations, and global deployments with minimal oversight.

• Represents Procurement Excellence in senior-level and cross-functional governance forums.

• Ensures long-term alignment with Coty's enterprise AI strategy and digital transformation vision

• Manages multiple concurrent digital, automation, and AI transformation initiatives.

• Applies strong project governance, prioritization, and structured program management.

• Ensures tools, workflows, and systems are delivered on time and create measurable business value.

Ideal candidate profile:

• 8-12+ years of experience in procurement transformation, digital enablement, or AI-driven process optimization within global matrix environments (FMCG, beauty, pharma, or tech preferred).

• Strong expertise in digital procurement tools, workflow automation, and Source-to-Pay technology ecosystems.

• Proven ability to design and implement AI-enabled solutions, with a track record of translating business needs into digital products.

• Demonstrated success leading complex, multi-system transformation programs involving multiple regions and senior stakeholders.

• Strong collaboration and influencing skills, partnering effectively with IT, Data, Legal, Finance, and Procurement leadership teams.

• Advanced analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to assess digital opportunities, evaluate new technologies, and drive continuous improvement.

• Clear communicator able to simplify technical concepts and present compelling digital roadmaps to senior audiences.
