It goes without saying that a plastic injection moulder must comply with very strict rules. For example, let's take a look at how food packaging is made. You can imagine that it is essential that the plastic used for such packaging is 100% safe and meets strict quality and hygiene regulations. That's why we manufacture goods that have BRC IOP certification. That means that we follow the requirements imposed for hazard and risk control, the standards for the manufacturing environment and the prevention of contamination. Injection moulding is a popular production technique used to make plastic objects. People might not always be aware of such products, but we use lots of items made using this technique as we go about our daily lives. Think about food packaging for example. For injection moulding, plastic is heated to produce a liquid substance, injected into a mould under lots of pressure, then left to cool. Next, once the product has been formed, a fully-automated robot removes it from the mould. Choosing the right material and ensuring a stable manufacturing process are important for the quality of the finished product.
