Dairy Development Officer

is responsible for planning and implementing the activities for continuous improvements in agri and livestock management for local farmers to ensure the availability of quality milk in required volumes. The position requires to create a platform for farmers to ensure the cost effective quality milk by providing them with proper animal nutrition and health care products & advises. To create the awareness in farmers about livestock farming practices and providing them the inputs at economical prices. The job incumbent needs to deploy and train the right workforce at the right locations to achieve the optimum efficiency and effectiveness level.

-Milk Pricing Targets -Milk Volume Targets -Induction of Commercial and Larger Dairy Farms -Enhancement of milk productivity per animal -Retention of farmers -Farmers training on Good Dairy Farm Practices for dairy development

Qualification:

• DVM or BSc Agriculture

Experience:

• Having 2-3 years of relevant working experience

Skills:

• Quality Management Systems

• Cost Management

• Relationship Management
