What are you going to do?

Mobile access is changing how organizations manage access: making it easier for users without compromising security, reliability, or manageability. As Product Owner / Team Lead (Mobile Access) , you will guide the team that develops and continuously improves this experience within Nedap in security.

You combine product leadership with team leadership. You make sure the team understands the problem we are solving, who we are solving it for, and why it matters now. At the same time, you create the conditions for a team that can deliver with focus, ownership, and craftsmanship.

You do not need to determine how a solution is built from a technical perspective. That is where the engineers and architects in the team bring their expertise. You bring the customer, market, and business context, make clear choices about what is needed and when, and work with the team to ensure the intended outcome is achieved.

Your responsibilities

Product direction and vision

You translate the Security strategy, customer needs, and market developments into a clear product vision and roadmap for Mobile Access. You make it clear where we are heading and which choices are needed to get there.

Prioritizing demonstrable value

You balance customer value, commercial opportunities, product health, security, and deliverability. You are comfortable saying no or adjusting expectations when needed. You ensure the team focuses on meaningful outcomes rather than work without a clear purpose.

Connecting with customers and stakeholders

You maintain close contact with customers, partners, Sales, Support, Operations, and colleagues across security. You actively gather input, bring different interests to the table, and translate insights into clear product choices.

Clear communication and change

You communicate direction, decisions, and changes to the team and stakeholders in a clear and timely way. You are visible, communicate openly about what has been decided and what is still being explored, and make sure important changes are not shaped by rumors or assumptions.

Your team

You will work with a multidisciplinary Mobile Access team of experienced professionals. Together, you will build a product that is part of a broader Security ecosystem and helps users around the world manage access securely and easily.

You will work closely with other Product Owners, architects, commercial colleagues, Support, and Operations. In this role, you will be the recognizable point of contact for both the product direction and the development of the team as a strong, autonomous unit.

• Compensation. Matching your knowledge and experience. The range for this role is € 4500 - € 6500 gross per month based on full-time employment (38 hours).

You have the ability to make clear choices in a complex stakeholder environment and explain them convincingly. In your role, you stand for the vision, the product, our customers, your team, and quality. This means taking ownership and responsibility for these areas, while also championing them. You bring the communication and interpersonal skills needed to bring people along, while also challenging them when needed. You actively foster a feedback culture and create a safe environment where different perspectives, ideas, and opinions can be openly discussed.

Good to know: You are available to work 32-38 hours per week. Hybrid working is common at Nedap, and you and your team decide together on your working hours to support a healthy work-life balance. You are expected to be on our campus in Groenlo at least twice a week.
