• Graduated education within the inland shipping industry, with a minimum of 4 years' experience as a First Captain/Master on an inland river cruise vessel
• Possesses all necessary certificates and licenses for responsible operation; additional non-operational licenses are advantageous but not mandatory
• Excellent management, organizational, and communication skills
• Guest-focused, stress-resistant, calm under pressure, a team player, and maintains a professional appearance
• Open-minded and flexible, with strong social and intercultural competencies
• An excellent team player with a flexible attitude
• Proficient in English (written and verbal); additional languages like French, German, Dutch are an advantage but not mandatory
• Able to work independently and possesses advanced computer skills for creating presentations, scripts, and projects
• Must have a valid driver's license and be willing to travel extensively (up to 80%) within the target area
