We are looking for a [position] for our furniture factory Warehouse assistant, 32 to 37.5 hours per week . You'll ensure that materials, parts and products are in the right place at the right time. This is a vital role, because without a well-organised warehouse, the rest of our production comes to a standstill.

What will you do?

As a Warehouse Assistant, you and your colleagues are responsible for ensuring the warehouse runs smoothly. You switch between different tasks throughout the day and ensure that production and logistics continue to run smoothly.

Your duties will include, amongst other things:

✓ Receiving, checking and storing incoming goods

✓ Collecting and preparing materials and components for production

✓ Loading and unloading goods

✓ Moving materials within the warehouse and production area

✓ Checking quantities and stock levels

✓ Ensure that goods are stored in the correct location

✓ Identifying discrepancies and shortages

✓ Keeping the warehouse tidy, well-organised and safe

✓ Working alongside colleagues from the warehouse, production and dispatch departments

No two days are exactly the same. One moment you're signing for a delivery, the next you're making sure your colleagues in production have exactly the materials they need.

Who are we looking for?

Above all, someone who likes to roll up their sleeves and get stuck in.

✓ You're a practical person and physical work is no problem for you

✓ You work meticulously and enjoy a tidy, organised working environment

✓ You can work independently, but you're also a real team player

✓ You are reliable and keep your word

✓ Experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is an advantage, but not essential

✓ Experience of operating a forklift truck or a forklift truck certificate is an advantage but not essential

✓ A Category C or CE driving licence is an advantage but not essential

✓ You have a sufficient command of the Dutch language to work together effectively and safely
