As a Logistic Coordinator interim you will be the key link between our customers, suppliers, and carriers, and you will work closely with your colleagues to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our logistics activities. You will get a unique insight into international trade and the different logistics aspects involved.

Client Details

This organisation operates in the wholesale trade sector. They are immediately looking for a Logistics Coordinator interim for 32 to 40 hours per week, with at least 4 years of experience in a similar role

Description

• Coordinating international transport shipments export outside Europe
• Managing transport documentation and ensuring compliance with international trade regulations.
• Acting as the main point of contact for customers, suppliers, and logistics partners.
• Building, maintaining, and expanding an effective logistics network.
• Optimising daily logistics operations and identifying opportunities for process improvements.
• Supporting and maintaining information and service systems such as CRM and ERP platforms.
• Contributing to quality management systems, including standards such as BRC.
• Collaborating closely with the trading team to determine the most efficient and cost-effective transport solutions.
• Training and coaching colleagues while contributing to their professional development.
• Developing your own leadership capabilities and taking ownership of projects and initiatives

Profile

• Bachelor's degree level of working and thinking, preferably in Logistics or International Business.
• A minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar role.
• Professional proficiency in English; Dutch is considered a plus.
• Strong communication skills
