Coreworks is seeking a Senior Project Manager for Stage Construction to oversee the execution of large-scale stages and temporary structures in the Netherlands and abroad.

We work hands-on and directly on challenging projects all year round-from Paaspop to Defqon, and from the Amsterdam Marathon to Best Kept Secret.

Your role

As a Senior Project Manager, you are responsible for the on-site execution of our large and complex projects. You manage (junior) project managers, construction crews, and various disciplines, ensuring that everyone knows what needs to be done.

You coordinate the project with the project manager and other relevant departments beforehand. On-site, you translate this preparation into a clear and feasible work method.

You are the central point of contact for the team, the client, and other stakeholders. When the situation changes, you maintain an overview, set priorities, and ensure that the right decisions are made and communicated.

What are you going to do?

• Preparing and supervising on-site execution.
• Safeguarding safety, quality, scheduling, hours, and job satisfaction.
• Oversee execution in accordance with drawings, calculations, and work agreements.
• Coordinating setup, adjustments during the event, and dismantling.
• Maintaining contact with the client, the venue, production, and other suppliers.
• Early identification and discussion of risks and bottlenecks.
• Mentoring and developing less experienced project leaders and crew members.
• Ensure proper, clear completion, handover, and project evaluation.

You pitch in yourself when necessary, but your primary task is ensuring that the entire team can work safely, efficiently, and to the right quality standards.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for an experienced project manager who takes responsibility and is accustomed to working in a dynamic and technical environment.

Ideally, you bring the following:

• Extensive experience in stage construction, scaffolding, events, construction, technical work, assembly, or a similar environment.
• Experience in independently leading large and complex projects.
• Demonstrable experience managing multiple teams.
• Technical insight and experience reading drawings and construction plans.
• A highly developed safety awareness.
• Organizational ability and the ability to maintain an overview.
• Clear, respectful, and persuasive communication.
• Natural leadership and decisiveness.
• Flexibility regarding working hours, travel, and overnight stays.
• A good command of the Dutch and English languages.
• Category B driving licence.
